What’s new

What has shipped, newest first. Each entry is dated the day it landed and says what changed in plain words.

  1. One menu for everything that means you

Your face in the corner now opens the whole account: settings, appearance, your plan, and the small print. Get help lives there too, and it opens a real support request without leaving the page.

  2. The top bar holds still

The bar along the top of the app stays put wherever you are. Drag the edge of a side panel to make it wider or narrower, and drag a chapter to move it in the list.

  3. Send feedback from inside the app

Tell us what is broken, confusing, or missing without leaving your page. Write it, send it, and get back to writing.

  4. Search across the whole book

One search now reaches your chapters, your story bible, and your notes. Type what you remember and jump straight to where it lives.

  5. Saving keeps quiet

Your work saves on its own, with no status line to watch. When everything is fine the app says nothing, and you only hear about saving when something needs you.

  6. Password reset

Locked out is no longer a support request. Ask for a reset link from the sign-in page, set a new password, and you are back in.

  7. More than one book

Each book now keeps its own chapters and story bible. Switch between books without losing your place, and the voices you have saved come with you into every one of them.

  8. Writing on your phone

On a phone the editor is one page to write on, with the conversation, your story bible and the rest of your tools in a panel that slides up under your thumb. Draft on the train and pick up at your desk.
